The great Greek philosopher Socrates, used to say that the unexamined life is not worth living. Following Socrates’ philosophy and searching for the meaning of life, I started quite early “examining” my life. It seems that this ideal has brought us to Syros and to Chroussa, in the '80s. We were fascinated by the picturesque village, the beauty of the lush green, the sunny hills, the pines, the old mansions, the beautiful churches, the view of the Aegean Sea embracing the nearby islands of Mykonos and Delos, the mysterious paths and the quiet lanes, the serenity of the place during peak seasons. So we came back.

I felt very happy when, in 1987, I was able to buy this land of 4.500m2, with the ruined stone buildings of the 19th century, patiently waiting for their restoration. As a nature and animal lovers we have enjoyed many happy and relaxed summers here, following the rhythms of nature, enjoying sunshine and swimming in crystal clear seas, reading and writing, painting and listening to music, drinking ouzo with friends, walking and running, hiking and picking aromatic herbs, eating bio veggies and fruits from our garden.

Every summer has its own story…

For you who wish to relax and live your dream, at a place that offers natural beauty and tranquility, crystal clear sea waters in walking distance, sampling Greek delicacies in local tavernas, visiting historic monuments and trying exciting activities, without feeling isolated from the modern world, Chroussa offers the ideal environment and SyrosDream is, certainly,  the best choice!
